January, 2013
Pepperidge Farm donates $1,000 in support of the trauma-focused work the Center does with children from early childhood to age 19.  

December, 2012
Norwalk Children's Foundation awards a grant of $10,000 to the Child Guidance Center of Mid-Fairfield County to help support the hiring of an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)  expand the services for children & adolescents. 

The Theodore Cross Family Charitable Foundation awarded $10,000 to the Center for the Prospects, Extended Day Treatment Program.

November, 2012
The Perrin Family Foundation granted $25,000 to the Center to support the work of the Child & Adolescent Psychiatric program.

October, 2012
Adolph & Ruth Schnurmacher Foundation donated $17,500 to the Center's Outpatient Children's Clinic that provides a variety of services for children (to age 19) and their families seeking relief from various traumas affecting their day to day functioning at home, in school or in the community.

Henry E. Niles Foundation awarded the Center's Choices for Success program $5,000 for the students' computer lab.

September, 2012
The Richard & Leila Grant Foundation donated $3,000 in honor of their son, Tristan, to the Center for substance abuse prevention work.  Substance abuse prevention is woven throughout all of the Center's programs and services.

August, 2012
First Niagara donated $2,500 to the ChildFIRST program helping high-risk families by providing in-home services focusing on issues related to development, parenting and relationship skill building.

July, 2012
The Community Fund of Darien awarded $30,000 to the Center to support the general operating costs of the Clinic, Prospects and other programs.

June, 2012
GE Capital Foundation granted the Center $15,000 for STEM Program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) at the Choices for Success program.

Newman's Own Foundation awarded a grant of $30,000 to the Center to support all its programs and services provided to the children of the Greater Norwalk area.

The Near and Far Aid Association awarded $8,000 to the Center's Prospects EDT program.

 

The Child Guidance Center of Mid-Fairfield County is a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.
Donations are tax-deductable as allowed by law.
