Our Mission: To provide children and their families comprehensive mental health, evaluation, treatment, and prevention services that promote optimal levels of functioning in home, school, and community.
We help children overcome behavioral and mental health challenges such as anger, anxiety, frustration, depression, eating/sleeping disorders and aggression, all of which can lead to a serious disruption of family, school and community life.
Our goal is to help every child become happy and healthy, learn to make positive life choices and successfully pursue and value education.
The Center operates a primary clinic at 100 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT, where a full-range of prevention, evaluation and treatment services are provided to address virtually every facet of a child's psychological, behavioral and emotional health.
The Center has forged a dynamic partnership with both the communities it serves and various social service agencies to meet the behavioral and mental health needs of our children with effective psychotherapeutic services, outreach capacity and specialized treatment programs.
Our professional and support staff works under the direction of Executive and Medical Directors. We employ a multi-disciplinary team of child psychiatrists, child psychologists, clinical social workers, certified counselors, certified educators and marriage and family therapists.
Finally, a volunteer Board of Trustees provides direction and oversight and assists The Center in financial and strategic development efforts.
